Published Author Danielle Corrie will be doing an Author’s Talk at Bowen Library Maroubra where she will share an inspirational journey on how she overcame childhood adversities to becoming a published author / writer with her book Teida’s Story life through the eyes of a dog
Published Author Danielle Corrie will be travelling to Central Coast Grammar School and speak to over 50 students sharing about how she was bullied at school, failed English and being told she was incompetent to do subject she enjoyed like physics and chemistry and never thought in her wildest dreams she’d aspire to write a book, let alone being a published author. However, thanks to dog Teida and encouragement from a dear friend, many many years later, Danielle Corrie wrote a manuscript titled Teida’s Story and now is an accomplished Australian Published Author.
Published Author Danielle Corrie will provide a presentation to over 150 Year 5 and 6 Students of Oatley West Public School where she will share how she was bullied as school, was told she was incapable of doing subjects like physics and chemistry as well as failing English and thus never thought in her wildest dreams she was capable of writing anything let alone a book. Then many many years later, after overcoming her phobia of dogs and thanks to a dog Teida and a dear friend she became a published author with Teida’s Story life through the eyes of a dog. Danielle will also meet students she has written to as part of Authors Penpal program for primary schools within Australia and also signing copies of her published book Teida’s Story which the school has purchased as part of their school library.
As part of book week, published author Danielle Corrie will be speaking to the year 6 students at St Lukes Catholic Primary School Revesby sharing her journey from when she was bullied and failed English at school and many many years later, once her dog Teida came into her life, Danielle came an accomplished Australian and Worldwide published author with her book Teida’s Story life through the eyes of a dog.
Published Author Danielle Corrie is to present to primary school students of St Therese Catholic Primary School (year 3 – year 6) as part of book week celebrations where she shared from when she was bullied, failed English at school and even had a phobia of dogs to many many years later becoming a published author and writer with her published book Teida’s Story life through the eyes of a dog
